For Ribs

You’ll need:

  • 6 apples – peeled, cored & sliced
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold cannabutter (optional to cook with)
  • Your homemade Medicated BBQ sauce

Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set a cooling rack on top. Lay the ribs on top of the rack in a single layer. This arrangement allows for heat circulations on all sides of the ribs.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Place ribs on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Scatter 4 cloves of sliced garlic over ribs. Cover, and bake for 2 1/2 hours. Cool slightly.

In a small bowl, mix together white sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and ground cumin. Rub spices over cooled ribs. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.

In a small saucepan, mix together brown sugar, cider vinegar, ketchup, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, onion, dry mustard, and 1 clove garlic. Simmer over medium-low heat, uncovered, for 1 hour. Reserve a small amount for basting; the remainder is a dipping sauce. Preheat grill for medium heat.

Place ribs on grill. Grill, covered, for about 12 minutes, basting with the reserved sauce, until nicely browned and glazed. remove foil to crisp outer edge. Warm up your homemade medicated bbq sauce and dip in!

Store leftover sauce it in an airtight container in the fridge. The sauce recipe will yield about two cups of sauce and is definitely perfect for your backyard barbecues! Enjoy!

The list of ingredients for tge ribs doesn’t match the written instructions at all! Like not at all. Like what are we supposed to do with the apples, and oats. Etc.

We went to the store and came home with everything in the “What you will need for the ribs” list only to find that those ingredients aren’t used and we don’t have clue how much of the other ingredients to use.

That left us with two slabs of partially cooked ribs and two frustrated and arguing people over what to do to salvage the evening before our friends get here.

    Very upset!
