How to make: Medicated BBQ sauce & Ribs
For homemade BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoons honey
- ⅓ ounce of cannabis, finely ground
- 1 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- crock pot
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoons chili powder
- ½ cup apricot nectar
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- pinch of ground ginger
- ¾ tomato paste
Take the cannabis, lime juice, water, green onion, and the oil and place it in the crock pot.
Cook the materials on low , set timer for two hours.
When timer goes off, place the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground ginger, cayenne pepper, and the apricot nectar in to the crockpot with the previously cooked mixture.
Mix everything together well and cook on low for another hour or til desired taste has been reached, stir every 20 min.
- 6 apples – peeled, cored & sliced
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cold cannabutter (optional to cook with)
- Your homemade Medicated BBQ sauce
Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set a cooling rack on top. Lay the ribs on top of the rack in a single layer. This arrangement allows for heat circulations on all sides of the ribs.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Place ribs on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Scatter 4 cloves of sliced garlic over ribs. Cover, and bake for 2 1/2 hours. Cool slightly.
In a small bowl, mix together white sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and ground cumin. Rub spices over cooled ribs. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
In a small saucepan, mix together brown sugar, cider vinegar, ketchup, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, onion, dry mustard, and 1 clove garlic. Simmer over medium-low heat, uncovered, for 1 hour. Reserve a small amount for basting; the remainder is a dipping sauce. Preheat grill for medium heat.
Place ribs on grill. Grill, covered, for about 12 minutes, basting with the reserved sauce, until nicely browned and glazed. remove foil to crisp outer edge. Warm up your homemade medicated bbq sauce and dip in!
Store leftover sauce it in an airtight container in the fridge. The sauce recipe will yield about two cups of sauce and is definitely perfect for your backyard barbecues! Enjoy!
