Hollywood added a different museum to the many found in LA with the opening of the Hollywood Hemp Museum on July 21st.
Located on a corner next to the Henry Fonda Theater in the heart of Hollywood, the easiest way there is to take the Red Line [subway] to Hollywood and Vine.
You will exit street level in the 6200 block. Walk down past the new high rise construction one short block to the ‘T’ intersection, and you are there.
Tours are daily, $15, and run from noon to 4PM, Tuesday-Sunday. Wednesday is Comedy Night and September 16th is the Star Sesh, $10 online, $15 door, 4:20pm-11pm.
Exhibits feature items from and about Jack Herer, Richard Eastman, Jeff Clark, Ed Rosenthal, and other activists for medical rights. New collections are expected for display as the World’s Mightiest Plant readies itself for 2018 with a past as varied as the art that covers the building walls.1 comment
